Partial dentures replace single or multiple teeth. Your new partial dentures can be made with a metal framework and clasps, pink acrylic and the teeth that are made of composite resin or porcelain to resemble your natural teeth and gums. Partials can be made in as little as 10 days. We offer two types of partials. A Metal Frame Work partial or an all Acrylic Partial, which is also known as a Flipper/Transitional Partial.
Metal Frame Work Partial
- The frame work makes the denture stronger and last longer. It is thinner than an all acrylic denture and is more comfortable to wear
- Made for patients that have stable, healthy, natural teeth with little concern of losing any more natural teeth within the next 1-5 years
- A temporary/transitional partial is used after recent extractions while waiting for tissues to heal, or until the patient can afford a more permanent solution
- A temporary/transitional partial may or may not have clasps
